Fashion Graphic Design
The Fashion Graphic Designer is a professional capable of combining advanced graphic design skills, computer skills and a deep knowledge of the Fashion System. His task is to provide the best interpretation of the identity of a brand or a Fashion product, grasping its essence and offering innovative graphic solutions designed for marketing and company communications.
The intensive course in Fashion Graphic Design is designed for students who lack specific training but wish to gain a rapid understanding of the basics of design and graphic design, simultaneously acquiring extensive knowledge of the Fashion industry. The study programme covers all the areas that require the contribution of a Graphic Designer, from textile illustration to 2D and 3D graphic design and visual communication.
During the academic year, students will learn how to use the main software programs and will create graphic design and multimedia projects for printing and online purposes. They will therefore be able to discover and develop their own style and create their own portfolio of projects. By the end of the course, they can decide whether to enter the world of work or improve their skills by taking one of the Master courses provided by HFFA.
Pattern Making
The Pattern Maker is the professional who gives life to fashion creations, transforming the graphic idea of the stylist into a garment that can be produced on a large scale. His task is to prepare technical designs and prototypes of the collection, combining stylistic and production requirements, choosing the most suitable materials and fabrics in terms of their structure and conformation.
The intensive course in Pattern Making represents an ideal training opportunity for students who lack skills in the sector and want to gain a good level of training in a relatively short period.
Regular workshop activities will enable students to learn the techniques of craft tailoring and industrial pattern making, acquiring CAD design skills for designing clothing.
By the end of the course, students will have a good range of technical and theoretical skills which will enable them to enter the world of work, in the design or styling sector, or complete their training by taking one of the Master courses provided by HFFA.
